Install the brazed plate heat exchanger in counter flow direction:
To keep lower water volume below the connector.

To achieve high thermal efficiency and high heat transfer rate.

For different ways of mounting the Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger
Cleaning:
The solution used should be a weak acid solution with concentration less than 5%, citric acid for example.
Should the acid concentration be too high, the copper and stainless steel inside could be etched or corroded.
Flush the Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger with large amounts of fresh water before restarting the system in order to purge any remaining acid solution.
